Confirm normal/reversible pulp, then prefer selective removal/IPT if a dentin barrier can be preserved.

Combine history, examination, and radiographs; pain duration alone is not diagnostic.
If exposure occurs with suitable vital radicular tissue, favor MTA/Biodentine pulpotomy and a durable seal.
