What is dextro-transposition of the great arteries?
In d-TGA, the aorta leaves the right ventricle and the pulmonary artery leaves the left ventricle. Systemic and pulmonary circulations run in parallel. Survival before repair depends on mixing through atrial, ventricular, or ductal connections. This differs from congenitally corrected transposition.
